WHEN CAN I COME TO THE LMC?  
We are open Monday-Friday, from 7:40 am - 3:10 pm Students may come to the lmc: - during homeroom, with a pass - throughout the day, with a teacher's permission - on the way to lunch (depending on the day. Check with Mrs. B) - at first bell at the end of the day, with a pass




WHAT RESOURCES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE LMC?  
We have over 9,500 books, over 20 magazine subscriptions, and over 60 books on tape & CD.  We also have over 260 videos & DVDs, but most are available for classroom use only,




HOW CAN I REQUEST THAT A BOOK OR MAGAZINE BE PURCHASED FOR OUR LIBRARY
You can either drop your request in the suggestion can located in the lmc, or you can make your request by completing the online suggestion form on this blog.





WHAT IS THE CHECK OUT POLICY?  
 -Books: Students may check out up to 3 books, for 2 weeks at a time.  However, if you need more books, just ask.  Students may renew a book for as long as they need it, as long as no one else is waiting for it.  
 -Reference books: may be an occasion where you need to borrow a reference book.  One reference book may be borrowed overnight at a time.  You will need to pick it up at the end of the day and return it first thing in the morning so that it will be available for other students.
 -Magazines: Students may check out 1 magazine (back issues only) at a time, for 1 week at a time.  However, if you need more magazines, just ask.  Students may renew a magazine for as long as they need it, as long as no one else is waiting for it.
 -Audio Books: Students may check out 1 book on tape or CD, for 2 weeks at a time.  Students may renew a book on tape or CD for as long as they need it, as long as no one else is waiting for it. -Students with overdue library materials will not be permitted to check anything else out until their record is clear.
