Are you an aspiring scientist and think you have what it takes to change the world for the better?
Discovery Education and 3M want students in grades 5-8 to submit a 1-2 minute video demonstrating how a real-world problem can be solved using science and engineering. The video can be simply taken using a cell phone or digital camera and doesn't have to be a big expensive production.
The national winner will receive great prizes including $25,000 and the title of "America's Top Young Scientist". There are lots of other prizes as well. Plus, if you are one of the first 50 students to submit a video you will receive a Young Scientist Challenge prize pack.
